The Continual Con- Artist... Peter Popoff
I am surprised to see the Broadcast of Peter Popoff after years of controversy.
My wife and myself happen to see him on Thursday morning on Court Tv and wonder how many people are STILL being decieved by this con artist.
His supposed "miracles" and his "words of Knowledge" were exposed years ago by stage magician The Amazing Randi and yet Christians still follow him! His "miracle spring water" is still being distributed to loyal followers.The man is teaching "Word of Faith" theology as evidenced by his book on prayer.
What a day of apostasy we are in. If you happen to not know of him and are new to the Christian family, be warned and stay away from this man!

Ruthanne Jacobs on TV !
I recently saw Ruthanne Jacobs, the ex-wife of Power Team leader John Jacobs, on Family Net tv.
I was so sad to hear of the divorce of her and John Jacobs. John was a regular on TBN and even co-hosted some Praise The Lord telecasts.
Now Jacobs had been against "heresy hunters" and those who rightly discern truth. (see the video The Great Apostasy: The Final Sign by Bill and Jackie Alnor)
Divorce is such a terrible thing. In the interview Ruthanne was really crushed as anyone should be! The damage to her and her young son is I know very bad.
Ruthanne is embrassing her local church for help during this trying time.
In a day we live in divorce is very common in the church world and nobody holds them accountable. Other than Jacobs, other leaders in the Church world are Hal Lindsey (a great author of which I followed his ministry when I rededicated my life)who has been married three times, Pastor Charles Stanley, Richard Roberts, singers Sandi Patti and Amy Grant, and Pastor John Hagee to name a few.
Listen, I am not judging Christians who have been divorced and I know people do step out and people do get abused by a spouse and they leave.It is sin to have affairs and abuse their spouses.The church needs to pray and help them and not act like they have the plague.
But listen the Church is a light and we need to be a light. Divorce in the Church world is rampant, but the leaders by their actions is saying it is okay to do it! Christians now more than ever need to be counseled by their pastors before making this step of Holy matrinony.
Let us pray for Ruthanne Jacobs and her son and let our Churches get back to the Bible for the role of marriage.

World Council of Churches Met at Lee University!
On Wednesday May 23, 2003, the World Conucil of Churches held meetings at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Lee University belongs to the Church of God organization, one of the oldest Pentecoastal denominations around.
Now I belong and I am licensed through the Church of God, but this wrong.
The World Council of Churches is very liberal and want to see a one world church (see Revelation 17).
I believe in unity of believers, but only true unity comes in truth not error!
Dr. Paul Conn and Dr. Terry Cross of Lee University were behind the events to lead to this.
Again apostasy , a falling away and compromise of the Church is here!

Jan Crouch Badly Sick!
Jan Crouch, TBN co-founder with husband Paul Crouch, recently has been diagnosed with colon cancer and has gotten in her lymphnodes.
Matthew Crouch, her son and heir apparent to the TBN Empire, says that she is not doing well.
Now for years Paul and herself have promoted "faith healing" through false prophets Benny Hinn, Oral Roberts, and others and also the Word of Faith false teachings on healing.
Now I believe in healing, divine healing by God.I recommend the video series by Mark Haville on "Signs and Wonders Exposed" (you can get through Dave Hunt's "The Berean Call" ministry. Look at my links page) for a more in depth profile of these Charismatic false teachings.
I love Jan Crouch and I don't glory for her suffering. I pray God does heal her, if it is God's will.
I know about the suffering of colon cancer. My father , a good Christian man died in 1988 of it.But my dad when he was sick had been visted by some Charismatic people who prayed for my father to be healed and instantly and had he had followed some of false teacher Robert Tilton looking to be healed. My father had been devastated because, he wasn't healed. But my father still looked Jesus.
I could go on further, of a great aunt in my family, who died of breast cancer, because of these Charismatic false teachings. Her husband told her not to take radiation treatments, because she was healed! She died soon after.
God does heal and does do miracles, but not because we say so and it comes into being.
Whether we are healed or not, we must look to Jesus and he will see us through. |
